Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics announced that
orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Mathew Levine has been named the Medical Honoree of the
Arthritis Foundation's 2020 Walk to Cure Arthritis in Atlanta. Dr. Levine is
recognized for his excellence in orthopaedic surgery and for his support of the
Arthritis Foundation.
Walk to Cure Arthritis, the Arthritis Foundation's
annual, flagship fundraising event, is the largest arthritis gathering in the
world where communities join together nationwide to celebrate Arthritis
Warriors and connect with others in the community. This year, due to COVID-19 the walk is going virtual.

Dr. Levine practices in Resurgens Orthopaedics' Cumming and Roswell locations and specializes in hip and knee joint replacement
surgery.
He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern
University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and completed his residency at Philadelphia
College of Osteopathic Medicine Affiliated Hospitals. He was fellowship-trained
in Hip & Knee Adult Reconstruction St. Vincent Infirmary and University of
Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is board certified by the American
Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American
Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee
Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, Medical Association of
