Dr. Levine is Named of the Walk to Cure Arthritis
Virtual Walk Takes Place Saturday, May 15 to Raise Funds for Arthritis Research, Resources and a Cure
Dr. Mathew E. Levine, an orthopaedic
surgeon at Atlanta-based Resurgens
Orthopaedics, has been named the Medical Honoree of the Arthritis
Foundation's 2021 Walk to Cure Arthritis Georgia, which will take place
on May 15.
The Walk to Cure Arthritis is an annual event
which is virtual this year, featuring events across the country throughout the
month of May so anyone can participate from anywhere.
Dr. Levine helped launch
the Georgia Virtual Walk at a kick-off event on Sunday, April 18. (Photos of

Dr. Levine practices in the Resurgens Orthopaedics offices in Cumming
and Roswell and specializes in hip and knee replacement.
More than 54 million Americans - including
300,000 children - live with the debilitating pain and daily challenges of
arthritis. For the virtual Walk this year, the Arthritis Foundation's national
goal is for participants to walk 54 million steps to fight arthritis. The
Arthritis Foundation is encouraging participants to give 54 dollars, tell 54
people about arthritis and move 54 steps, minutes or miles - and share it all
on social media.

Dr. Mathew Levine
practices in Resurgens Orthopaedics' Cumming and Roswell locations and
specializes in reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee, anterior approach
total hip replacement, robotic partial knee replacement and outpatient knee and
hip replacement.
He received his
medical education from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and
completed his residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Affiliated Hospitals in Philadelphia, PA.
He was fellowship-trained in hip and knee adult reconstruction at St.
Vincent Infirmary and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little
Rock, AR. Dr. Levine is board certified
by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Levine is
associated with the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the American
Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Academy of
Orthopedics. His is affiliated with
North Fulton Hospital and Northside Hospital in Forsyth County. Dr. Levine is the Chief of Adult Reconstruction
at WellStar North Fulton Total Joint Program.
