Practice ranked ninth in metro Atlanta among the largest employers
March 28, 2016 (Atlanta) — Resurgens Orthopaedics has earned recognition as a Top Atlanta Workplace for the sixth consecutive year as designated by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and its partner, Workplace Dynamics. Resurgens ranked ninth in the entire metro area for the second consecutive year among the top 25 largest workplaces (those with 500 or more employees) and ranked second among healthcare companies. Resurgens is one of only a few companies to be recognized as a top workplace every year the award has been offered.
Only 150 companies in the metro Atlanta area received this distinction.

More than 2,500 companies were nominated or asked to participate in the process after employees across the metro area responded to print and online solicitations that began to appear in September. Workplace Dynamics then surveyed 275 companies that agreed to participate. Each company required a response rate of at least 35 percent for employees based in metro Atlanta to qualify. In all, nearly 60,000 workers participated. Resurgens has 950 employees.
According to the AJC, a common theme emerges from the companies that have received this recognition: “They have invested as much in their employees’ well-being as they have in tangible perks.” The newspaper also said satisfied customers are a byproduct of such companies.
Workplace Dynamics, founded in 2006, partners with the AJC to perform the surveys. It measures areas such as employee motivation, desire to remain with the company, pay, training, work/life balance, company values, execution, leadership and culture, among other areas.
