Resurgens Orthopaedics, the largest independent orthopedic practice in Georgia, has announced the addition of ten subspecialty trained physicians, bringing the total number of physicians to 102 across 26 clinical locations. These new physicians will support Resurgens Orthopaedics' ongoing mission to support increased patient access and continued growth throughout Atlanta.

Jack McKay, MD - specializing in Sports Medicine, Dr. McKay began seeing patients on August 1, 2026, at the Dawsonville and Roswell locations. Dr. McKay completed an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Andrews Research and Education Foundation and his doctoral training at The University of Alabama School of Medicine.
Craig Shul, MD - specializing in Hip and Knee Replacement, Dr. Shul will begin seeing patients on September 1, 2026, at the Canton, Acworth and Woodstock locations. Dr. Shul completed an Adult Joint Reconstruction Fellowship at the Anderson Clinic and his doctoral training at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.
Ajit "AJ" Vakharia, MD - specializing in Sports Medicine, Dr. Vakharia will begin seeing patients on September 1, 2026, at the Sandy Springs and Windy Hill locations.
