It was my first time seeing Dr. Kao, I was late and they still accommodate me - thank goodness! I couldn't walk! Dr. Kao was thorough, explained what was going on with my knee and is very skilled with the cortisone shot! She was in/out before I had time to brace myself! A great experience, I will go to her for shots as needed in the future! 👍🏾

I am totally amazed at the difference between her and my previous orthos. Her approach to doing xrays as well as how she performs injections are so different. Her explanations are so good and easy to understand. My previous cortisone injections were done sitting up and directly into the painful side of the knee. She had me lay down and injected quickly on the opposite side which was SO much less painful. She is the best ortho I've ever seen and I've had at least 5 ortho surgeries.
