Dr. Jacob Strong has been my Orthopaedic Doctor for several years now, I just can't remember how long right now; it's been a while though! He is an excellent doctor and we discuss my concerns as well as we discuss his concerns; then between the (2)of us, we come up with a plan/solution that we work and achieve it together! Whenever I come back for a follow-up visit, he'll ask me if/how it's working out; if it's not working for me, he'll ask if I have something I want to suggest that may work? Sometimes he'll tell me what may be another approach and ask me what I think about it! He will have me stand and walk across the room so he can see my gait when I walk, and have me walk back to see my gait from the front which is essential!! He has me to sit on the table and check the strength in my ankles by pushing down with all my strength against the firmness of his strength with both feet!!! I tell him about issues with my back when the pain is bearable and unbearable! The pain this time was unbearable!! He always knows what to do and when to do it! Then he always tells me what he can do, and he also asks me what do I think about what he's saying? We discuss it and we'll try that and see if it's something that will work for both of us to do to resolve my issues! We talk it out and we both come to the best plan of action, that will help me the most and get the level of lower back pain down to 'ZERO'!!! It's been a 'win, win' for both doctor and patient eversince he became my Orthopaedic Doctor!!! I'm 71yrs old and I hope he will continue to be in great health for himself, his family, and all of his patients that needs his excellent care including me!!!
