About

Dr. Sok brings comprehensive training from Emory University School of Medicine, where he completed his Pain Medicine Fellowship, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency, and Transitional Year Internship. His educational background also includes his Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Sok has extensive research experience in pain management and rehabilitation medicine. His research has focused on characterizing bone marrow derived concentrate, orthobiologics, and microfragmented adipose tissue in human participants, as well as investigating anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy for lumbar medial branch radiofrequency ablation. He has also conducted important research on intra-articular therapeutics and rehabilitation for post-traumatic osteoarthritis.

His unique background includes military service as an Ensign in the United States Navy and professional experience in healthcare technology implementation at Athenahealth, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on healthcare delivery and patient care.

Outside of Work

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Sok enjoys traveling, with recent adventures including driving the ring road in Iceland. He is also a trivia enthusiast and notably appeared on Jeopardy! His diverse interests reflect his curiosity and dedication to lifelong learning.
