He graduated from the top of his medical school class from the University of Miami and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center before pursuing advanced fellowship training in orthopaedic spine surgery at Northwestern University under world-renowned experts in the field of orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery.
