I'm a 58 year old female who required surgery to repair labrum and bicep this year. I'm now 4 1/2 months post surgery and 1 month post physical therapy and am incredibly pleased with the outcome. Dr. Chen and his staff were extremely professional and caring. He took time to explain in detail the surgery and necessary follow-up. He did an excellent job and I'm very grateful!

I very recently had total right hip replacement surgery by Dr. Bircoll at DeKalb Medical Surgery Center. The hip replacement has been a complete success and pain that I have experienced in the hip for a long time is gone. In addition, Dr. Bircoll and his staff are outstanding. They worked very hard at each step to make sure that I understood what to do and felt comfortable. They answered questions carefully and completely. I would highly recommend Dr. Bircoll to anyone needing hip surgery.

I had surgery with Dr. Goins last December. He was wonderful !! The PA and nurses at the office are great. Yes, they do remind you of your appointment. Yes, you may have a bit of a wait when you get there to see the doctor or PA. The reason for this is these people make SURE you understand everything and that all your questions are answered. I have heard them deal with the elderly and they are very patient. I appreciate this. Dr. Goins knew I was scared to have back surgery. He did not rush any of my appointments. I would rather wait for a doctor who takes their time with a person than one who over books, rushes in, quickly goes over things and rushes out leaving you still having questions.

I had been dealing with severe pain for several months and trying traditional non-invasive treatments (Chiro and PT) with very little results. In checking with coworkers in the healthcare community Dr Daftari was highly recommended. After being assessed by Dr Daftari and his team it was determined that I had a severely herniated disc which required prompt intervention to avoid nerve damage. My pain was gone as soon as I woke up from surgery! I highly recommend Dr Daftari and his team!

Dr. Velez is always compassionate and patient. I trust him totally with my medical needs. He has helped me tremendously from my pre-op visits through my surgery and post-op. His office cannot be nicer either. They are a wonderful group of individuals who go beyond courtesy and friendliness.

Excellent surgeon with a comfortable bedside manner. The entire office was easy to deal with and always eager to make sure that my mom was well cared for. Everyone went the extra mile to fully explain every detail of the procedure and answer any questions or concerns that we had. Scheduling or changing appointments was an easy process as well.

One of the best spine surgeons in the business. Dr. Greenfield saw me after 2 prior failed surgeries to repair my lower back. I had lived with crippling back pain for 10 years. I had heard of Dr. Greenfield's expertise and I was grateful to finally see him. He rebuilt my lower back and its been 3 years since the surgery and he made sure everything went as planned. I have had the best 3 years since the surgery. Was able to work again and do all the things that I had missed doing with my family. Due to see him again shortly for a follow up. Dr. Ficke is a great surgeon. I found him quite by accident and consider myself extremely lucky to have done so. He's extremely knowledgeable and kind and gentle as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing hand surgery. His assistant Leslie is wonderful, too. It's a great office and all the staff was friendly and reassuring in my time of need. Dr. Ficke and Resurgens Orthopaedics ROCK!!!!
