Resurgens Orthopaedics Physician Serving As GOS Legislative Chairman
March 9, 2009 (Atlanta)--Dr. Douglas W. Lundy of Resurgens Orthopaedics, Georgia's largest orthopaedic practice, was recently appointed as the Legislative Chairman of the Georgia Orthopaedic Society's Board of Directors (GOS).
Dr. Lundy was elected at the October 2008 GOS Annual Meeting at The Cloister Resort in Sea Island, Georgia, and will serve as Legislative Chairman through 2009.
"It's a thrill and an honor to serve on the GOS Board of Directors," Dr. Lundy said. "I look forward to working with this esteemed group of physicians to continue elevating the level of patient care in Georgia."
In addition to his involvement with GOS, Dr. Lundy also works closely with the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Orthpaedic Trauma Association, and other organizations.
Dr. Lundy received his Board Certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His special interests are Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery and Fracture/Fracture Reconstructive Surgery.
